Wellness Gift Guide

Guys, I felt like a total Grinch this week when I was out and about Christmas shopping. Keep in mind, I was PMS’ing and felt like I couldn’t make simple decisions, so I wasn’t very successful.  For some reason, I felt totally overwhelmed by the sheer volume of STUFF that exists nowadays.  Something I’ve noticed about my personality is when there are too many available choices, I panic. Hahaha. I prefer to go in with a plan of what I’m buying and get the hell out of there ASAP.  Hopefully my gift guide can help you avoid mall-anxiety, too!

For the coffee + tea lover + adaptogen latte lover (ha!): Swell Traveller bottle.
I’m obsesssssssssed with this Calacatta gold marble print. You could pair it with some matcha, turmeric, Kauai coffee beans, or a gift card for their fav local coffee shop.

Saje’s Pocket Farmacy or a couple roll-on oils. I love how essential oils have become the new coconut oil and it seems like there’s a medicinal blend for almost anything. I use their ‘Sleep Well’ oil every night and I swear it’s like taking a chill pill. It contains valerian root which is kinda like nature’s valium!  When I’m PMS’ing (like I am right now) I roll Moon Cycle onto my lower abdomen and back. Peppermint Halo is great for headaches and muscle tension.
A class pass for a fitness or yoga studio you know they’ve been dying to try (or love!) I’d adore all the Rumble Boxing passes, please. 🙂  For someone who is transitioning into a more healthful way of living, Orangetheory is currently running two holiday promos that are perfect for fitness newbies:  4 class pack + chest heart rate monitor for $99 or 4 class pack + wrist monitor for $149.

Herbologie functional herbs + botanical blends. I’ve been using their Athlete’s Kit (currently 50% off!) to assist with recovery and relaxation. Almost every night before bed, I make myself a turmeric ‘latte’ or golden milk. This particular kit contains matcha, bee pollen, ashwagandha, cordyceps, Siberian ginseng and turmeric.  They come with recipe cards, too!

Rocky Mountain Soap’s lemongrass body wash, bath bombs, scrubs and eye cream are some of my favourite non-toxic skin care products.

The top wellness books I read in 2017 were:  Marry Him,  You Are A Badass, Think & Grow Rich, The Miracle Morning, The Five  Love Languages and Womancode.

You can’t go wrong with gifting a beautiful journal or two and nice inky/flowy pens. Add some sage and quartz crystals to the mix for full and new moon journalling sessions!

A succulent + cute ceramic pot. So millennial, I know.

A six pack of assorted kombucha + a few bars of good quality dark chocolate is the key to almost any girl’s heart. Or  a home-brew kit for those who have been talking about making their own ‘buch!

Happy Holidays!
